I hope that Arenanet takes on the ongoing feedback posted, time and time again, thread by thread and forum by forum commenting on the same issues that persist and continue to propagate patch after patch after patch.

Static Discharge’s targeting to be fixed such that if the SD proc is to remain a skillshot, then it emanates parallel to the ground and tracks elevation, just like Elementalist’s Ride the Lightning, or Engineer’s Net Shot does.

Turret firing rates, Overcharges going “missing” if triggered too late, and a plethora of other bugs to be addressed such that a potentially viable set of utilities can begin to see the light of day.

Wish list: Anet fixes the numerous bugs and makes both power-based builds and turrets viable in actual mid to high level PvP.

Reality:

-Fixed an issue where Engineers could achieve large uptime on Swiftness.
Speedy Kits now has a 15 second internal cooldown and only activates in combat.

-Fixed an issue where Engineers could achieve large uptime on Vigor.
Invigorating Speed now has a 15 second internal cooldown and only activates in combat.

-Fixed an issue where Engineers could achieve large uptime on Protection.
Protection Injection’s Protection buff reduced to 1 second. Increased cooldown to 20 seconds.

-Improved Fumigate’s scaling coefficient from 0.05 per tick to 0.06.

^ something like this is what i foresee happening

Oop, I got another one to add:

It would be really nice if Turret Overcharges would reinitialize the firing cycle, and thus begin doing whatever the Overcharge was supposed to do when the button was pressed.

While there would be a potential concern about timing it so that the Turret’s Overcharge would reset the firing cycle immediately after firing to begin with, it would make most Overcharges more reliable.

-Pistol give some combo field
- heal turret survability
- DEAL WITH RETALIATION. Current design is plain stupid! Admit it Anet u failed with retaliation design. One profession hurst himself more than the enemy!
- FT skills to have finishers + dmg boost
- rocket kick is plain dull. maybe give combo work for it too
- We have very few group skills. We should deliver atleast somethin. (ye trough combos we do but no skill itself is group oriented)

Ah right. Make the inventions traitline actually useful outside of gimmick builds.

It’s the turret traitline, but turrets suck. There’s also a bunch of random crap thrown in there, plus like three decent traits that are stuck in master or grandmaster tier, those being shield CDR, Elite Supplies and healing bombs.

It’s like the traitline where they decided to throw in everything that didn’t belong in another traitline. If they condensed a few turret traits, improved them a little, and maybe added some gadget traits, it might be worthy of investing into more often.

definitely would like to see them combine a lot of the turret traits (turret self repair, turret increased health) and add some new ones (over drive engine: when a turret is over charged, It’s rate of fire is increased by a further 50%).
