Precise Sights is a terrible trait. Stabilized armor is okay but Protection Injection is better. You will be much more sustainable that way (Backpack Regenerator will help a ton). You also didn’t have Grenadier, which you need oO. I changed the rune, too.

Or you could replace backpack regenerator with stabilized armor.

I don’t even know why you had -20% CD on elixirs tbh…

No offense intended to your guild, but asking you to spam anything is a gross misuse of this profession’s capabilities. We are THE manipulators of the battlefield. It just happens that we also have a large collection of conditions at our disposal as well. Every action you make needs to be deliberate and thoughtful.

Should I use Rocket Boots now and grant Might in this fire field, or save it to use as a Water blast when Healing Turret is up again? Do I pop Magnetic Shield inside Regenerating Mist or use inside my Poison Fields to give my enemies Weakness? If I use Static Shield to block this Thief now, can we kill him when I throw it and interrupt his stealths?

These are examples of the critical thinking situations that you need to be processing during a battle, not Shrapnel Grenades is back up I should toss it and hope it lands. To answer your question though, this build will offer some of that pressure you were speaking of, but Tool Kit will help worlds more by allowing you to isolate unsuspecting targets from the safety of their group when you stealth before using Magnet.

I am not saying you or your guild are in any way bad players, just illustrating that the opening statement you made leads me to believe they may not be fully aware of an Engineer’s capabilities if they want you to simply apply pressure through conditions for the benefit of fellow Necromancers to feed off of? All I can say to you right now is this: no matter what build you bring along as an Engineer, determining how effective you will be to the party is entirely based upon you as a player and the critical thinking scenarios I mentioned above. I will say that the build they have selected for you is most optimal for solo roaming than team oriented play (though the traits would need major tweaking).

Howdy folks! Dancing monkery here, #5286th engi in NA and worlds Last rank 80! With a 100% Win ratio against Vee Wee in Combat !!!

If you and your guild are looking at builds that fir your dynamic when you run together, then clearly you do not need swiftness, as your guild mates will be providing those in an AoE. Comments such as this, leave one left really scratching their head.

And I say this particular advice is terrible. Anyone who just bluntly claims an entire trait line is bad in a one liner, is someone you shouldn’t take seriously. The inventions line has “Stabilizing Armor” for example, that when combined with “Protection Injection”, gives you -53 damage when stunned or disabled. 25% sped increase, without having to swap kits, offering speed boost for gadgeteer builds and turret builds. A 76,800 heal per minute in an AoE with elixir infused bombs. Heal skills recharging at 25% health. Protection procs when you are hit with a crit. The list goes on. All clear evidence that anyone who blurts some random nonconstructive one liner and refuses to offer feed back, in a case such as this, is not trying to be productive as I see it.

Stabilized armor is okay but Protection Injection is better.

Oh, but the two together are magnificent. Its a -53% damage when ever you are stunned or disabled. Cutting a hammer trains damage in half is great. Any time you get caught in a CC loop, or jumped by a group or caught off guard, this trait combination can be such a life saver.

Here is my current spec that I have run forever and love. It does however sort of suck when trying to run away or when facing the stun train. Other than that I have problems getting focused or when we fight larger groups with my current build.

Still, trying to be a team player so I wanted to post their thoughts first and get a reaction.
