Guild Wars 2

With the continuous addition of new, rare, expensive, and cool-looking backpacks, it sucks as an engineer that 90% of the time you can’t see them. With a game about vanity, it would be cool to be able to see your backslot item instead of the same hodge-podge hiking backpacks that hides most of your character and can never be changed in appearance.

I know this could fall under the ‘suggestion’ forum, but it really only applies to engineers. All other classes will always be able to see their gear in battle and only those using shields in sheathed position will their backslot be hidden.

Just wondering if others thought the same or not.

thanks for the link! Bittersweet to know there is call for a toggle, but no official response.

Same gripe about legendary weapons, or at least cool skins for your weapon now with the backpack.

At least with the backpack they could make it so if you have a back piece enabled for viewing that your kit backpack doesnt appear. But our weapon skills are just sol.

I woudln’t mind if our kit backpacks would reflect the back item you have equipped, like a stuffed quaggan/charr plush toy sneaking out from inside the backpack, or a quaggan/charr charm hanging from the backpack.
