I am new to engineer… well I don’t even have one yet^^ I main Mesmer, but after playing around in a GW2 build editor, I came up with the following build for WvW:

I would mainly roam with it. Also, would Autodefense Bomb Dispenser work to use Rifle leap for invisibility?

I am aware of the lack of stun breakers. I hope that Autodefense Bomb Dispenser may compensate that flaw. Also there is a lack of condition removal skills… I simple have to not get myself caught then^^

EDIT:
Just realized that Throw Mine is a blast finisher. So dropping it into a smoke field before leaping outa there could give me 6s of invisibility. Sounds cool, at least in theory^^

no, that wouldnt work.

aed is junk, healing turret is the best healing skill engi have

shrapnel is bad without nades (with your mines it will be just 1 bleed for 15 sec once in 30 sec)

speedy gadgets is <<< then Leg Modes or Power Wrench

Adrenal Implant (50% endur) < Invigorating Speed (6 sec of vigor every 10 sec)

etc…

yeah unfortunately gadget focused builds just arent viable. (but builds that use a gadget but focus on other things are often quite good.)

Yes, rifle 5 leap will stealth you, even if you land outside of the smokefield. Starting within is enough.
You can also selftrigger the smoke field by using rifle 4.

I would suggest the vigor/speed combo alchy 1+speed Kits. Mine + gadgeteer + Rune of defender is a nice Setup. The 6th bonus triggers the 4th and the heal is around 3900 hp.

Thx for the answers. Didn’t know AED is considered so bad, it sounds pretty strong theoretically.
