WvW engi frontline
The build in my sig is great for front lines. Healing up the hammer train.
So basicaly i want to give a good support with a lot of Water heal (2 water field + reload the skill when i m lower then 25% helth) but still keeping a good thougness and power in front line.
in what i m most confused is on Amulets accessory ring back.
do you think is important healing power in wvwvw?
Healing Power scales awful with the Healing Turret. If anything, the residual HP from Inventions and maybe a set of Celestials should be more than enough to give you decent numbers went blasting water fields. You have a bit too much toughness because of juggernaut that could go somewhere else and you lose a block and a blast finisher by going Rifle and not Shield, thus decreasing your utility in the front line. Your build and Carp’s both lack mobility, protection against disables/stun and roots/immobilizes and stability. Running without that makes you a rally bot that won’t be able to push through, you will just get brutalized by the necro well spam + ele ms spam, given that you are facing a half decent composed group.
Your skill/trait choice was really close to the build I use to command guild raids/reset nights. Such build negates 73% of the damage you take while stunned, reduces, reduces the time you spent chilled/immobilized/crippled by 78%, has AoE stability so, given that you are in a proper composed raid with 1 guardian per group, you won’t have stability downtimes (and will be able to make up for the lack of a guardian). It also deals more damage than your current build and has more survivability. Plus, it has 3 blast finishers on demand for those water fields and a 900 range leap that removes movement impairement, great for pushing through some nasty chokes like Hills Lord’s room, SE tower farms, Bay north inner walls etc. Plus, it’s a great blast finisher for rolling fire fields/water fields/random static fields.

The open master trait slot in Alchemy can be VIII for 6 seconds on Stability, VII for more damage, IX for more HP/s, it’s a really flexible master slot. This build mimics warrior-like survivability for front line business, so keep in mind that big numbers aren’t really your thing, leave those for the Eles. If you aren’t running into any problems against good groups, you can switch out of soldiers to Celestials for slightly bigger heal blast finishers and crits.
One more thing, don’t go crazy on the auto attack. Retaliation kicks back like a brazillian jiu jitsu black belt farm horse. You can easily switch around for a more Bomb Kit oriented approach if you feel like it.
