Hi guys

I have been playing GW2 since beta, and so far have 6 80s, that being War, Guard, Thief, Ele, Mesmer, Necro. My goal is to have 1 lvl 80 of each available class. Finally as time allows I got around to making an engi which as of the time of this post is lvl 50ish+ and already has all skillpoint skills unlocked via the skill point scrolls.

The PvE, SPVP, and small potato roaming stuff are really self explanatory and self evident build wise. But what about zerg, anti-zerg ? Specifically, what aboutruning in a zerg/blob/hammertrain busting organized group ?

No matter how I look at things and try them out, it doesn’t seem to me like my engi will have enough stability, evades, stunbreakers at lvl 80. Don’t get me wrong, not looking for 80% ish stability uptime like on my war/guard or spammable immob and stun breakers, but no matter how I examine the available skills, and no matter which ones I try so far with which traits (though I do not have the trait lines unlocked up to 30 point traits yet since not lvl 60), its just not enough, and not just not enough, what I have seems to me as a drop of water of what is needed in an ocean and I have available on my other toons.

My main source of stability seems to be “F” skill “Toss Elixir B” which is on a long CD, requires me to waste a utility slot by having Elixir B equipped, requires me to waste trait points to reduce the already long CD, and most importantly, it does not break stun or immobilize.

My main stun breaker seems to be Elixir S, which again is on an extremely long CD, requiring waste of traits and does not provide good cleansing or other decent benefits such as stun breakers do with other classes.

But even on the defensive build, the limitations I stated, mainly the CDs and luckluster stability / stunbreakers seem to me as troublesome.

So what other builds are there that give better performance for running with the frontline ? Must have self stability and self stunbreakers and self cleansing, lots of it.
