So I’m trying to figure out a zerker nade build. I only really ever play zerker FT/EG. Never really experimented with nades tho for zerker. This is the build I have set up right now. The runes are the main thing I’m trying to figure out, because I want something that provides strong damage but also has some sort of utility or special.

This is for WvW, mostly in groups/zergs. Some might abilities to keep a few stacks going and celestial accessories for toughness and vitality.

Hey, that’s a pretty solid build! Overall, it seems good but if you want you could try swapping out backpack regenerator for vigor on swiftness maybe. Also, you might want to swap out the sigil of force for a sigil of battle so you stack might a bit easier. But you know… Whatever suits you.

The reason I took backpack regen is in larger fights that extra ~180-200 hps would probably be useful, but then again, swapping a lot with battle like you said would be useful with speedy kits and near perm vigor. Good thinking, it’s runes and sigils I’m trying to figure out. I always played perplexity nade with dire/celetsial on my eng. Zerker in general is foreign to me.

Your crit chance is a little low. I would consider switching to foods/consumables which give precision. Also, with only Rocket Kick for reliable static discharge procs, you may be better off either taking Scope over SD, or moving 10 points from tools into Firearms. With 10 in firearms you can take infused precision, which, combined with invigorating speed, will give you perma-vigor. Depending on the fight, this could be both more damage and more survivability than what you have now.

It’s not a zerker setup, but I do sometimes run it with zerker armour and celestial trinkets just like you’ve got setup and it works pretty well.

The one thing I would say is if you want to go zerker, you’ll be running a power build and I would ditch the pistol and try the rifle. I used to run nothing but pistol + shield and rifle took a lot of getting used to but now I find I much prefer it in a lot of circumstances and have learnt how to cope with Thieves a little easier using it.

i run this when i want big numbers. rifle is generally better for power builds. if you want to mess around you could try out rocket turret toolbar utility. almost impossible to land but hits really hard. just for messing around, nothing serious
