which is better to use now with standard 6,2,0,4,2 build ? rabid or celestial ? i tried celestial but it seems to me that rabit works better …

I’m assuming that is a nades build? I personally enjoy celestial with rifle for nades but I’ve also been experimenting on rabid with dual pistol nades too. Both can work really well so it’s up to you really. Celestial gives you a little bit more direct damage and survivability making you a hybrid whereas rabbit would make you full condi. I’d say use both and decide. If you think rabid works better for you then by all means, go for it.

As the other guy said, either works really. Thats the beauty of engie, they can go any direction really as they almost always have a tool for the job. Like the A-Team of PVP.

Rabid is basically the king of offensive condi amulets.

Same here. I started playing engi with short fuse / celestial – because I’m a fancy basterd – and was completely disappointed with how bad it (when I say it I mean ‘I’ :<) performed. Then I switched to IP / rabid and saw a lot more success.
I think rabid is easier for newcomers who can’t make use of the options that a more elaborate setup offers. Anyone can burn things to the ground with full condi + IP
