Depends what you call genral pve. World bosses, solo farming, events like in sw ect. For every situation is goo little bit different build and gear. If you want soumething what will work well everywhere (exept dungs/factals) you can mine build what I use in sw:

HGH/Juggernaut is really easy to use. Not nearly the most effective approach, but it is easy and versatile. And does not cramp your hands.

Aye, one thing to note though is retaliation, watch out for it
