does HGH needs a buff ?
Really bad idea.
First the minor trait making elixirs remove conditions is Alchemical Tinctures, why would we put a convert on HGH in same trait line? Second: Elixir builds don’t need to take Elixir C anymore to deal with conditions, this skill has few upsides, one of them is it is converting conditions instead of just removing them. This change would make Elixir C even worse.
hmmm okies bad idea got it.
what if it heal allies?
I guess the first question to answer is, Why do you feel HGH needs a buff?
the only real buff that elixirs need for me is to reduce the cast time
Hahaha 1k heal ? Are you serious ? That would be so overpowered man, Like Pier said the only problem elixirs have is the cast time, not sure if that is even a problem lol

well, because besides from the 20% duration increase, 20% recharge and 2 stacks of might, there is nothing more. could use a bit more since it is a grandmaster trait after all.

hmmm what if the activation time was reduced by 20% as well?

what amount would not be overpowered then?
500 ?
I would say that HGH is fine. Remember your Toolbelt is an AOE condi cleanse AND gives might. It is pretty much inline with Guardian shout grandmaster. Adding more to it would make it too much. I would rather they take out the RNG on some of it which would probably balance it better than adding more to it.

Look at the other two Grandmaster Traits in the trait line.
Stimulant Supplier – Small heal and short duration Fury with you heal.
Iron Blooded – Negative 2% damage for every boon you have.
Seems to me HGH is a lot stronger then the other two. Lower cool downs, longer boon duration, and the ability to stack large amounts of might which synergies well with both Power and Condition builds.
If you want to buff any sort of skill you first need to identify its weakness; I don’t feel you have made clear why you feel HGH is weak and needs a buff.
H.G.H is already string, it doesn’t need a buff. 2stacks of might per elixir, it can stack, there is a lot of elixir skills (EG #4, EG #5, EG toolbelt skill, Elixir C, R, U, B, H, X and all them toolbelt skills). Dors it really needs a buff? I guess no. It Just had to ne used in an elixir build
HGH just needs to give 3 stacks instead of 2 to be more competitve with fire Ele might stacking.
Taking a break from GW2 to play various
Nintendo games..
…besides from the 20% duration increase, 20% recharge and 2 stacks of might, there is nothing more.
You want it to do your laundry too?
In PVP The real problem is not HGH buff. The main problem is if you want to do damage now without feeling more squishy than a thief, you need to take cele, hoelbrak runes and HGH and stack power as fast as possible.
Because if you take other amulets you are just “nearly” as squishy as a thief, without stealth
-> HGH engineers everywhere.

In my opinion now hgh works well if you don’t play a build based on it. For example if you play a pistol pistol build classic, with rabid , elixir S and alchemy trait, then hgh is good , expecially if you use mortar. You have elixir S (one in build and one from trait ) and 2 elixir from mortar. You will not stack tons of might but it is a good add on
IF HgH should get a buff, I’d rather see them add the Elixir tag to more abilities and traits. Maybe set Experimental turrets to count as an Elixir (could make for some interesting turret banner builds).
But before they eventually buff HgH (I don’t think they will), they should buff or change the two alternatives that most players probably don’t even know exist.
Iron blooded now reduce dmg pr boon by 2%. There are currently 10 boons in game (we can ignore Aegis as it will negate the dmg reduction), so at best (you’ll never get it) it is a 20% dmg reduction (as well as the 20% from protection). This trait replaced a trait that reduced incoming condition durrations, so I think they should buff it by also adding a reduction to inconing conditions based on the total number of boons on you. In addition, I think 3% would be a more balanced choice when compeard to HgH considering that you’ll never have more than 4-5 boons in most encounters. If you ever get more then it must be a pretty large teamfight and you would die the moment they focus you anyway, or your team is going 5 vs 1 on some poor kid and the dmg reduction won’t matter.
The last trait I don’t even remember the name of, it’s some poor on heal trait that spawns a bandage pack or something. I think it also grants fury. Does anyone use this? Did anyone even care to try it out? And does anyone have an idea why Anet thought this was a “build defining” trait?

HgH is the only good grandmaster in that entirely line. It is fine as it is.
The other two traits need serious buffs.
