explosions(traitquestion)
All bombs, grenades, and mines from skills or traits count as explosions (even reserve mines, throw mine, evasive powder keg, etc.)
Additionally, bombs that “pulse” an effect like smoke bomb and glue bomb have multiple chances to proc shrapnel.
- all grenades
- all bombs on the initial explosion
- fire and smoke bomb on pulses (not glue)
- all mines
- detonating turrets
- thrown elixirs when traited with Acidic Elixirs (don’t know if R toolbelt pulses explosion traits)
- rocket turret

that’s interesting i tested a bit and it never seemed to proc on the smoke bomb for me so i assumed shrapnel only proced on explosives and pulses that dealt damage , although i have been known to have large bouts of bad luck so that’s what it most likely was.
Strange thing about explosion triggered traits, pistol 1 and mortar skills aren’t considered explosions even though they clearly are.
