Scrapper is op and it is stronger than f2p engineer. I wanted to try something different , not scrapper, becouse i was bored from it. I arrived diamond with this “simple” build . It is a variation of classic wanderer FT build … without ft. Wanderer with ft is really strong but i have problem against necros and warriors . With this build i lose ft utilities ( and it is a loss) , i lose damage from ft toolbet skill but i gain great damage stacking might. I know that there is boon corruption but if you range you play smarty and use costantly your elixirs it is not a great problem . As utility u can chose between elixir X and mortar .
Thieves are not a great problem ( what killed hgh in the past) becouse box of nails + analyze helps you a lot. Mesmers are harder in 1 vs 1 . It is not a replace of scrapper, it is something different if someone is bored . Till diamond it works quite well . Under heavy condi pressure time your elixirs, if the fight is longer your output damage will be higher so try to survive as long as u can .

Used to run something very similar in WvW ages ago just different runes and mostly Carrion because im cheap.

in wvw you have not spead with this …. in spvp elixir B for speed is enough

I would either slot Speedy Kits, or just chug Elixir B, Elixir H and Toss Elixir B and hope RNG was on my side for near perma-Swiftness.

Whats the role of this build? As i see it it has very low dmg, no burst and still no better survival. Counting on 1/2 – 1 cast time just to remove 1 random condi i wouldnt say good survival. Also might stacking will not increase your damage by mcuh if your dmg is near zero. Also i wouldnt run mortar, but elixir, it also sync better with traits.
As vs necro the most important thing is to predict and avoid transfers and try to interrupt heal, moa DS. FT actualy helps great here. For warrior i would suggest as condi to keep distance as much as possible and dont be affraid to disengage just to go back few sec later(streamline kits helps this) and dont tank too much. Also for runes there are much better options than mightstacking.
