I am currently level 80 and not just which path to go, basically from 50 to 80 I pretty much used a rifle, grenades, the elixir that gives a lot of boons and than either elixir gun or rifle/rocket turrent.

I was messing around with flamethrower and its very fun, i was working if the first skill flame jet takes advantage of condition damage although it doesn’t apply a burn?

Nope, pure power. That weapon is mainly power driven now since they gave incendiary powder a 4 second CD. It used to be amazing for crit conditions.

That’s wrong though, the cooldown is 3 seconds which pretty much allow permanent burning with flamejets as long as you have enough crit.

It also triggers the ‘chance to bleed on crits’ thing, so amusingly the flamethrower can be alarmingly good at a bleed spike!

Flamethrower seems to be more power based IMO.

Flame jet does a lot of power damage, and with Deadly Mixture, plenty of damage. Skill 2, if timed well can actually do some nice damage.

Skill 4 is poor for condition damage really. 1s if you step on it. Wow.

high crit with condition damage. bleed on crit and burn damage will work better. what is more important, with some proper runes can easily achieve perma burning and burning is the most powerful damaging condition. power sounds nice on paper but it does not really work due to the constant misses of flame jet. a few misses dont bother condition build that much.
