hidden mechanics or a bug i really dont know
I think it’s just visual pathing from the Predator. The projectiles have their animation changed when you have the rifle equipped. I didn’t see anything else in the video if that wasn’t what you were talking about.
yeah i know that he is using predator, but was i trying to say is that the AA is changing his trajectory in mid air.
in the screen you can see that the auto attack make turn of 90 grade in mid air

That skill is, like many, designed to track a moving player to some extent, so that staffing doesn’t make it miss, and you need to dodge, block, or reflect it. It appears to me that your bogging down your machine when recording and your graphics or connection are simply adjusting to catch up to where the server says the projectile actually is, versus where it was appearing a split second earlier.
thank you for the answer
rifle 1 homes on the target you shoot at. the projectile has a travel time. the 90 degree turns we see are prolly the engines way of forcing it to home and account for target movement in the plane normal to the shot. the particularly crazy shots in the video are likely due to lag. most of the time when i see this happen its extremely short, but in the video there are a couple shots that turn at about halfway, which i havent seen happen before, prolly cuz i dont typically lag much.
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions
As many said, lag.
I’m playing on the European Servers, from germany to be specific. Since routing goes cross-border & you can’t really control which providers’ networks your packages have to pass on the way, many tend to get short lag-spikes in Europe, resulting in disconnects & asynchronous Client/Server states.
And this is where flying projectiles change their path mid-air on your screen: when the Client receives correcting Server-information, forcing your client to draw & connect the actual projectile path.
