On of the biggest issue I have with turrets is that they only viable for point defending because of the long cd…
Since all classes have passive buffs/effects by means of signets…why not make turrets make work the same way! If they are not used they should give a passive effect like

for example:
healing turret: remove condition every 10sec or passive life reg.
rocket turret: increased movement speed
rifle turret: chance to add vulnerability or discharge lightning bolt
….

Would not mind, i feel this idea fits elixirs more though, or gadgets. But that is only in terms of what makes aesthetic sense, not what is needed for gameplay.

This was an idea I actually had for gadgets, because they are so boring and long CD in many cases.

Rocket Boots= Condi Damage
PBR= Power Damage
Slick Shoes= 10% move speed
Utility goggles= Crit Chance

Simple. Might even make it a trait.
