So it seems in my guild that it has fallen on me to be our dungeon leader. Not a bad thing really, but I have been having issues finding a build. Since I am leading, I try to be more tanky just to make things easier. I have tried the flamenommer build, and while it works well, it did not feel like i was helping the rest of the group outside of my survivability, and I also started getting bored of it. I tried to make a turret build 0/30/30/0/10 and had mixed results, it was more fun, I had more control, but lost suvivability. So I am wondering, whst other good dungeon builds are out there with high suvivability. Also some good damage would by a plus.

I’ve run a 30/0/30/10/0 p/p build through all three paths of Ascalonian Catacombs, Sorrow’s Embrace and Honor of the Waves, with a good bit of success – mostly as kite, or NPC protector in applicable segments.

In Ascalonian Catacombs, I have been able to kite a skelk horde with reasonable success, using turrets, detonations thereof, and whatever I had to slow them down/knock them back to prolong the chase, with Throw Mine and Mine Field doing additional damage to the pursuers.

Honor of the Waves involved a lot more running into combat, dropping turrets and mines willy-nilly and generally ruining days in an aggressive manner. Underwater bosses, in particular, seemed to focus primarily on me, so Grenadier came in handy.

Loadout:
Explosives Traits: Shrapnel, Accelerant-Packed Turrets, Enhanced Performance (or Grenadier, in Honor of the Waves’ underwater sections)
Inventions Traits: Metal-Plated Turrets, Elite Supplies, and Rifled Turret Barrels
Alchemy Traits: Self-Regulating Defenses

Skills: Healing Turret, Thumper Turret, Flame Turret, Throw Mine, Supply Crate

I’ve since swapped Elite Supplies for Reinforced Shield, and my second pistol for a shield. Reasonable success has been had, but recent groups haven’t been quite as good as the group I ran the first set of dungeons with.
