ive been listening to some eggs and says stimes runs with 25 stack. well this will be a killing machine, but with all rng, combat randomness etc, how much might does one gets on average? also, if you do this, looks like everything is subordinated to this goal: choice of traits, slot elixirs, sigils… is this choice killing the fun of combat mechanics?

Well engineer can maintain perma 25 stacks with HGH build and proper sigils/runes. If its fun? Well you basicly melt everything in few sec so if fun means read how ppl in chat call for engi nerf then yes it is:-)

Going for 25 stacks of might pays a high price. You are good in teamfights because you make a lot of AoE damage. But in 1on1 you have no or little defense.

Also a thief steals your boons and kill your team in no time. 1on1 vs boonstealling thief is very very hard to win. Because he steals all stacks from you and 3 shot you.

It’s not RNG with HGH and sigil of battle, those are 100% confirmed. 20-25 stacks is easy to maintain in combat and out of combat you can be running around with ~10 ready to fight. What you sacrifice instead is vigour (it’s hard to make the build work without elixir cooldowns and cleansing formula), weapon sigils and runes.

Why not just try it all? It’s easy to change builds in spvp

Thanks. I’ll try enhanced performance and Sigil of battle part of it (there was also something that extends the might duration?), but probably not hgh part. I prefer two weapon slots and one elixir only.

just go for the ht/eg/bk/x you can easily get over 20 stacks of might if you chose to. obviously the more might and boon runes the easier, but it pretty easy even with just just 20% extra might (holbeck being my fave atm!)

As for traits, pick what you wont as it make no odds.

Try out an HGH grenade build. Grenades scale well with conditions as well as damage. The blind + freeze gernade also gives you a bit of extra defense.
