this is about the mortar kit and power builds for PVE so please no pvp whines or rants here.
so my mortar 1 at 25 might stacks hits harder then grenade 1. and being a pure power build the only reason I use my grenade kit now is for my grenade barrage toolbelt skill.
also mortar is a projectile finisher and grenade 1 is not : (.
and when u are stacked on a boss in melee range the grenadier trait is 100% negated and does not give u an advantage.
it does how ever cause grenade barrage (toolbelt skill) have a 1500 range and fire 7 grenades instead of 6 untraited. so it now has very high synergy with mortar kit when using it for long range (if u ever decide to go wvw) for world bosses or other things.
anyway I love the mortar kit and will use it until its nerfed to the ground and then end up going back to grenades
