I like the double airstrike and the mortar kit.
For the vuln. trait I partially agree, but explosions will always cause vuln already so in my opinion for groups this would cause overkill in vuln.
yes i see now , 5 sec… more vulnerability than with firearms … i did not see it
Firearms can massively boost your crit chance at close range and if you’re throwing your nades at your feet, you won’t miss the velocity… Not sure if the 10% dmg from explosive powder would make up the margins.
Also grenades inflict alot of none damaging condis along with bleeds, which combos well with modified ammunition…
Explosives is definitely a power line now so traiting else where is always gonna benefit condi gear.
I’m not using either bombs or grenades anymore thinking about it… I still use mortar but that’s more for the heal and blind field for close skirmishes, poison field for downed foes and reaching out where my pistol and EG can’t reach.
I don’t think I was ever a huge fan of the GK anyway. It just used to be stupid not to.
TL;DR it’s okay but not a no brainer anymore. I always start my build with firearms first atm then look into tool/alchemy/inventions for the utility synergies I’m after.
yes i play 2 different good build , one with rifle power and no kit ( all elixirs , really fun), other with pistol pistol eg and all kits ( condi bsaed ) but kits are really strong
