has anyone tried HGH with just elixir gun? i’ve been able to get 18 plus stacks of might no problem from EG and playing cele rifle with this build. let me know what you think and if i need to tweak anything or switch stuff up let me know. put together the guide real quick so i’ll make changes as you guys point them out. looking forward to the friendly criticism and the kitten remarks.

Shrapnel or Thermobaric Detonation > Siege Rounds.. just because orbital hits for absolutely nothing on cele, however the blast is nice, and maybe the fields are helpful on mortar it’s just so easy to walk out of those fields, etc..
Inversion Enzyme while using E-gun > Backpack Regenerator
Personally though you’re working with 4 kits which is a lot to take on.. and honestly I’d just get rid of Egun and HGH, maybe trait into something else like inventions for the benefits on blast that’d make Thermobaric pretty god like..
All in all I think cele is pretty much useless, too many condis, and too much damage all in all. You might be better off running a condi build or zerk at this point in the game, but then again it’s really too early to tell
i like having the 2 blasts from orbital traited for the water and ice field from mortar kit and 2k hits twice if you root them is nice but i usually use it for the blasts for team support or healing myself. I just wonder how the next couple of nerfs are going to play out, i just really like rifle on engi. i’ll look into the inventions line

No celestial is not useless, its still good, and after arenanet brings burning in line it will still be the best stat set for enginner (and elementalist as well).
I also find that inventions is better than alchemy by a good amount. Bunker down lets you poop out med kits, which is a bit better than backpack regenerator, while all in all it gives you tons of extra group and personal sustain that is further boosted by celestial’s healing power.
I also run shrapnel and mechalegs, just because the movement speed is really nice, and it helps you avoid being killed while immobolized (with hoelbrak you can walk out of entangle and panic strike).
so i took your guys advice and instead of tools i went into inventions. i stuck with HGH and EG for the might stacks and inventions helps out so much. throwing down EG 5 and mortar 5 gives a point around 600 heal per tic while both fields are down plus a condi clear and a 6 second water field that can be blasted. with BP regen that’s 800 plus a second for the player not counting regen buff. plus bunker down med kits, the support is awesome. i like the might stacks reaching around 20 on my own so the dps may be sub par, it still hits decent and provides a lot of support and cc. thanks for the help, here is the updated version i chose to use. thanks for the feedback keep it coming!

i meant to take mecha legs instead of soothing detonation >:( i guess either works but i like the movement speed since i dont have streamlined kits and the reduction on immob, cripp and chill plus hoelbraks reduction makes those condis barely noticeable.
anyone else use into the mists calculator? can i change the trait selection?
