(edited by krixis.9538)
hey guys im a pve engie that uses grenades. what i want to know is which spec is better in terms of nukeing.
is 30/15/0/0/25 for standing still artillary style any good (apperntly scope for 10% crit standing is bugged)
or
30/30/0/0/15 for the higher crit and not needing to stand still.
also how much health should i be aiming for. is 15k hp more then enough wityh mostly berserker gear. and does it hurt to have a few power vit crit dmg rings / trnkets and a bezerker amulet ?

I don’t use Grenades, but there is one thing I’ve picked up on:
The more grenades you throw, the more chances you have to crit. The higher your crit chance, the more of that mass of grenades will crit, and the more crits you, well, crit, the more damage you do.
At least, I think that’s how they work. I’m mostly working off what I see people saying. Probably wrong. Ah well.

I run 30/20/0/0/20, personally. The last traits in the Firearms line are junk and won’t help your grenades do more damage. The 5% extra damage on bleeding targets SOUNDS nice, but then when you realize you pumped 10 points into the Tools trait line and gained 10% crit damage. If you’ve got over a 50% chance to crit, it’s mathematically better than the 5% at any given time. You should have access to plenty of Fury, pushing your Crit upwards of 60% so it will end up being better. Not to mention that Static Discharge is loads of damage, and Speedy Kits is great for most situations.
I would suggest scrolling very minimally through a page or two of the engineer treads. We have a very hefty amount of threads on this topic that probably have multiple answers for you.
