I’m total noob in sPvP and engi and i tryed some build like grenade and flamethrower. They was not comfortable for me, so i decided to concentrate on melee bunker.

I was reviewing a bomb healing build last night and came up with this for SPVP:

It’s got toughness, power, some healing power, and strangely relatively high crit damage. In addition cool down on the block skill is reduced to 16s which is really good.


On a similar note, I’ve been running a bunkerish condition damage spec which seems to be pretty effective:

Try changing your traits a bit—maybe give up firearms for explosives III, or energized armor for power shoes (Inventions VIII) and speedy kits for elixir-infused bombs (Inventions XI). You don’t benefit from condition damage very much—protection injection will likely serve you better.

Your runes give critical damage but you will get critical hits very rarely, so that’s not very optimal. You’d do more damage by just getting runes with power, or you could get runes that help you survive better. You might want a sigil of energy or battle rather than a passive 5% crit bonus, which will barely increase your damage at all (probably about 2% total dps increase).

your condi setup runs grenadier but not grenade kit.

you can be a condi bunker as an engi. just go 10/0/30/30/0 and run settler’s amulet. bomb/ft/tool kit/eg are all good kits for that build.

you can be a condi bunker as an engi. just go 10/0/30/30/0 and run settler’s amulet. bomb/ft/tool kit/eg are all good kits for that build.

Thanks I fixed the link, it’s the standard grenade, bomb, and egun setup, but with settlers amulet.

There is a spread of skills that provide burning, poison, bleeding, and typically a small amount of confusion. I think the most notable skill is grenade kit #2, but with shrapnel the grenade auto has a decent chance to proc a 15s bleed.

10/0/30/30/0, regardless of what kits you run, is probably the ideal bunker setup. Either Cleric or Settler amulet works. I prefer Settler myself, since I primarily run Bomb Kit and Tool Kit together for the confusion burst. My third utility is usually either the Elixir Gun or Elixir S. Elixir Gun is better against condition classes, while Elixir S is better against burst.

I run a settlers amulet bunker build that focuses a lot on setting up kills as well as fighting conditions for the party

Stay alive, use elixir gun to blast healing turret and disengage, toolkit for blocks and magnet/pry bar to help setup kills, elixir S to free stomp w/ throw S just incase. I run this with team ques and always get compliments
