this change good
I have to admit, I have given you guys a lot of flak as of late but first day feels good man. Color me impressed. Power feels good and even some wonky ideas I had feel good.
I now have something else to play on my Engineer (Power) and get accustomed to. I feel like I can try to chase / keep up if I choose the right time to set up my burst.
We’ll see how things go as the weeks go on but this is probably a better gift to Engineers than any Expac. Why can’t this happen more often? This feels.

Been using my celestial gear in WvW for small group roaming for the first time in ages not an optimal setup yet but i can engage really easy making it alot easier for my team mates to setup there kitten and by the time my defenses and kitten run out rocket boots is back up its great, spvp i went the most glass i could with rifle and just ran around +1 every fight i could worked out allright but ill see how it goes versus decent players later on at some point
Initially I was not excited… Then the orbital laser went off, that was pretty cool. Though I still would like inventions to get some love (and gyro’s too) but the laser was fun!
I like the changes too. Mainly planting mines when you dodge roll was a nice buff that I like to play with now. It also gives me a reason to use the explosive line because I really hate the fidgety behaviour of grenades as of late (skill/server lag craziness) and that crazy bomb fuse delay. So now my engineer is throwing out mines galore and everything goes boom. Synergizes really well with the adrenal implant + throw mines + bunker down mines. Or you can trade off bunker down for invigorating speed to get vigor on swiftness for that sweet sweet 100% endurance regen. Dodging is now a fun combat mechanic
It will be interesting to see how to mix this up with the holosmith too since you get bonus mine dmg with everything else that’s going on. Good time to be an engineer!
Rocket Boots…Dang this skill feels great to use. Also been messing around with Gadgeteer and AED.
This update is definitely a positive step. It just cannot be the only one.
