it would be great to get some review about my engi build:
it’s kity and tanky but doesnt do sooo much dmg. i mainly use the grenades.
my 2 cents:
re-organize your equip.
runes of melandru are fine, but 5 nightmare (because its 6/6 proc is cat-tier) + another random condi-dmg rune would change much.
also I’d go full rabid on your trinkets/backpack
yea, you loose some health, but you already have a nice load of protection, regen and toughness. also you only miss out on 8 condition-dmg points (from your buff-food effect), but gain 13% crit-chance. bowl of truffel-resotto would give 100 condi-dmg and 70 precision as well. so you get an actual crit-chance of 25%, that you could use to proc sigil of torment, with only around 12.5% (depending on the nect proc) of downtime

you may loose around 20% of bleed-duration, but gain 10% duration for all conditions
First I would drop backpack regenerator and get invigorating speed. Second I’ll tell you that you wont be killing very many people by yourself. There is just not enough Condition spike to your build because a lot of the damage spike comes from crit procs. You’ll be able to lay down a good amount of Codition pressure, which is very useful in a small group fight, but I don’t think you’ll have the damage to be effective alone.
This is very similar to the build i run except i use a majority of Rabid gear for more spike damage. i also run healing turret because the skills you have give you 3 blast finishers which when done right makes it a better heal then medkit.

Basically its not a bad build, but were I you, I would drop melandru pick up perplexity, adds tons more pressure. Drop sigil of energy and pick up geomancy again more aoe spike pressure. Drop grenades and pick up bombs. You will then have amazing defense, access to smokefields for stealth, great aoe condition burst while maintaining a great amount of survivability. Also I would drop speedy kits, and medkit for power shoes and healing turret. Grats you now get an extra heal at 25% health and only lose 8% movement speed with rocket boots you won’t notice this.
Do these things and PROFIT!! I run this build alot and it is just devastating in smallman. Me and my guardian buddy can 2v5-7 on a very regular basis due to the smokefield blinds and high condition burst while maintaining great sustain via BR, and dire gear.
P.s why on earth are you running -condi food get the + duration food its your best option, condi necro’s are you hardcounter anyway, if you see them just rocketboots on your merry way.
i too would drop backpack regen just cuz i dont really like it. i wouldnt trade it for invigorating speed though since youre using energy sigil. unless you want to trade out that sigil for like… battle, torment, or earth.
you feel like you dont do much damage mostly because youre using -duration food instead of +duration. the single most important thing for a condi build is using pizza / koi cake. and your runes are purely defensive instead of one of the excellent condi rune options. undead, perplex, or noble would go a long way for your damage. but changing either of those will leave you a lot more vulnerable to conditions.
thanks for all that nice input, will try these things over time. first of all the sigils (mbe geomancy? will try some), replace the rocket boots (by net turret? flame turret? i will see…) and the vita-to-condition-damage trait.
i will keep melandru+defensive food for the moment because i don’t have much condition remove and it’s just too great to >walk< out of roots.
and i think i need dire to tank the 50% remaining condition duration (not enough remove because i’m still failing to use the heal turret in a proper way)
