10/25/10/25/x Build Feedback
I would ditch Elusive Power. It’s a poor trait for what we intend to accomplish.
The thing about EP is that it directly is contradicted by the 5 point honor trait Vigorous Precision, which gives you endurance on crit, and any dps build will have a high crit chance. Furthermore, endurance is arguably your most important defensive resource and trying to deliberately keep it low (and lose dps by not attacking) is a very poor trade off. You’re better off putting 5 more into radiance and picking up perfect inscriptions or 5 in virtues for inspired ones. Perfect inscriptions will let your signet of resolve get rid of 2 conditions every 10 seconds, which is nice since you don’t have any condition removal besides 4/2 on the greastsword, not to mention the additional bonuses from your 2 signets.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.

This is a good suggestion, AW, and one I’ve been considering for a while. Elusive Power is seldom useful and certainly my least favorite 5 point bonus in the build.

If you’re doing all kinds of PVE I think you’d be crazy not to take 5 in virtues for the might when VoJ spams which should be happening with renewed justice, highly highly recommend.

This build is extremely good for CoE Alpha and dungeon boss run.
For the peeps that commented, While 5 in virtue is good, however most of the time team mate is too far apart, the blind only last for half second, need practice to keen on mobs knockdown and attacks. in boss run, almost rendered useless.
This is my build since launch >.> however at the moment, ive changed from 10 Valor into Zeal +5%GS dmg.

You should use 20/25/0/5/20 if you are going to use only GS. You need Master of Consecrations for Wall of Reflect and Purging Flames, both of which are pretty necessary in dungeons (especially if you don’t have condition removal from Shouts).

I relocated 5 points from Honor, dropping Elusive Power, to Radiance. Using Perfect Inscriptions (alongside the three signets) in a 10/30/10/20 gives me consistently high crit and DPS. At this point, I like the adjustment.
Regarding condition removal, I’ve been using Inscribed Removal during dungeon runs. Activating a signet also drops a condition, and their recharge rate is already pretty fast. The build mostly fits what I’m after, but I’m still open to suggestions. Thanks to those who weighed in.
Depending on what dungeons you do, you should consider moving the 10 points from Valor into Virtues. Imo, the benefits of Unscathed Contender/Master of Consecrations are by far superior to anything Valor can offer.

I think of EP as more damage loss mitigation than pure DPS increase. It is handy in areas where dodging is necessary. Dodging just to get the DPS boost is not really a boost though.
I would suggest 10/25/0/25/10 for you. Well rounded with some utility.

I run 10-30-0-20-10 with GS/Staff.
Inscribed removal is nice since the on-use of our signets is not always super useful, and Perfect Inscriptions gives us a nice stat boost. The 10 pts in Virtues gives me the ability to spam VoJ and stack might in the process when there are a lot of small mobs, and I think every one of the traits in that first tier of Virtues is very useful and thus a good investment of points.
Nice thing is, if I ever feel like playing with my 1h weapons just for grins, a couple quick changes makes that incredibly easy. Switch Perfect Inscriptions for Right Hand Strength, switch 2H Mastery to Empowering Might, and you’re good to go with no trip to town to switch traits.
It is a nice and versatile build with a good balance of flexibility and high damage.

I am still rocking Paladin 2.5 no build I found yet beats its power and flexibility.
I never even have to change the build for any content. But nothing is wrong with this build. You went more power then defense. I just find zeal useless until they sit down and do guardian damage correctly.

If you know how to dodge halfway, then you don’t need the crutch AH in PvE. Builds centered around that trait are just boring and promote bad playstyle. Besides, the OP stated that he wants “fairly high DPS”, which that Paladin build does not deliver.

Hmmmm, this looks like a fun build for PVE. I think I’ll try it out. I imagine that it should hit very hard.
