title saying my little brother last night ( when iwas sleeping ) bought full soldier set with more then 190k karma points..wheni logged in game morning my karma’s was gone and my fresh 80 guardian was with ful tank soldier set..:S ..ok now what i can do with soldier set to keep on playing dungeons and fradctals..i dont have 40 golds or 100 golds to buy me another set from tp..i farmed another 35k karma but its..taking too long again to get gears..help pls suggest me a build good for me and others for dungeons and fractals with 5 piece soldier gear.. p.s OHH jut now realised i have exotic cleric great sword + exotic cleric sword / focus …suggest me a build i can use these guys :S:(

Take whatever build you want and make sure NOT to join any groups that want berserkers, speedruns or whatever else of that kind. From an objective point of view, that gear is not useful for any kind of good build for dungeons and fractals, but there are more than enough people out there who either don’t care or have no clue anyway.

Its good for bunker builds. Most guards go bunker or a mix of bunker / dps has its usually the best option for wvw. In truth its not bad for pve either, especially if your soloing around a map. As for dungeons, most groups wont care how you play as long as you play well and have fun.

Put Runes of the Trooper in that gear, put sigil of life in the cleric weapons. And get berzerker ringsn earrings and other jewels. You’ll be a tanky DPs dude with healing on top.

Soldier’s gear is also the go-to gear for WvW, if you’d fancy trying that out.
Your karma isn’t wasted, Soldier gear is the most useful type of gear for a guardian, in general, so you’re lucky while being unlucky.

It’s unfortunate, but that’s what happens when you let someone else play on your account. Lesson learned, hopefully.

It all depends what you want to do. That soldier gear will be good for WvW, so don’t throw it away. Try and save up some money and if you want to deal damage or join zerker groups and buy the berserker armor. Until then, you can do world events and join “play as you lilke” dungeon groups.

Just make sure not to spend the money you’re earning and buy the gear you want. You can also do CoF dungeon runs and use tokens to buy exotic berserker gear. Shouldn’t take you more than a week of doing AC 1/3 and CoF 1 once a day along with world events.

Make sure you buy level 80 gear though, it makes a difference. Weapons too. Use buy orders instead to get it at a lower price.

Just use it as your WvW set,get mendura runes or soldier runes on it and you good to go for some awesome wrath of loot spam

You can’t buy berserker gear with karma so I’m not sure why you thought that it was useful. I think berserker gear costs something like 3g per piece on the TP. Join some dungeon runs with your soldier gear to get more gold. Most AC runs for example just want lvl 80’s and don’t specify gear.

you would of wanted a soldier set for WvW anyways, so just put tropper runes in it.

But get zerker trinkets.

Serves you right, account sharing is against the rules and you should be temporarily banned for it.

What else were you gonna do with the karma? Doesn’t sound like you need obsidian shards yet, so your “brother” did the right thing in your situation. Run the AH build with the train in EoTM for loot/gold/karma, you’re probably not worse than the average guardian in dungeons/fractals either until you can afford zerk gear.

Don’t put expensive runes/sigils in karma or WvW gear unless you know you will run with it for a long time, since it can’t be salvaged. For ascended trinkets the best way to get them is fractals for rings, guild missions for earrings and laurels+WvW badges for the amulet.

You can’t use Karma for much else anyway; unless you were planning on buying obsidian shards. The gear is useful for WvW and can also be used the open world. Don’t try to join ‘speed run / zerk’ dungeon groups though, your gear isn’t build for that. If they find out what you’re wearing, you’ll be kicked. If you aren’t kicked, you’re still riding on the back of others and slowing them down. Don’t do it.

run some WWW for badges enough to buy just weapons.

get berserker weapons instead of clerics for badges,
try to get set of runes of the pack, they are relatively chap and grant lots of precision.
get one of the offensive builds in obals guide.
use food consumables that convert toughness/vitality to precision.

do dungeons, and nobody will notice that you are not a berserker.
