found it kinda funny just how easy it was we even went as far to melee the evolved Husk but in the end the whole path had no challenge.

You shouldn’t abuse your drake like that.

5 Guards can destroy pretty much any content quickly. Especially if 2 or 3 have AH, whether they’re fully defensive or fully offensive. I’ve seen 5 100% DPS Guardians obliterate most EXP dungeons without any issues or downs.

So you used five of the most faceroll class in the game and are saying there is no challenge to it. Go figure.

Not really a matter of it being Guardians. There youtube vids of full mesmer, warrior, necro, and ranger teams doing the same thing. Dungeons are really simplistic once you know what you’re doing in each one, as well. That’s why so many like MF so much, it was actually challenging.

Oh, of course they’re easy once you know what you’re doing. It’s just that the other classes don’t always have a stupidly high level of forgiveness for when you screw up.

Indeed. Necro and warrior have an even more stupidly high level of forgiveness when screwing up Alpha’s circles

You must be high if you think that a zerk warrior has much forgiveness screwing up anything.

What the hell kind of warrior are you playing that has as much forgiveness as a AH guard? I would love to see that. When i run dungeons on my guard i can get almost 60% of my health back using staff 4. Then i have shouts that heal a bunch and every time a ally stands in a symbol i get healed and then get healed when i crit, when i pop my virtues and oh yeah when i use my actual healing skill. Especially if there is 5 melee classes together i get these healing me constantly and it is very rare that my health is below 70% for very long.

It’s because it’s so forgiving that people think it’s so simple. TBH, after hundreds (I think I’m reaching the 1K hours after my 3-4 month hiatus) it really is easy. Yet, I see so many people absolutely fail with them. Yesterday, someone says they’re doing fractals. I get in the group, there’s 3 Guardians (including myself) and two warriors.

1 Guardian was running 100% Zerker gear, accessories, and weapons (linked it all in /p chat), was running 30/30/0/0/10, and was using Greatsword/Staff. He dropped so many times, and refused to switch to his staff, saying it lowers his DPS. FYI, you can’t DPS if you’re dead all the time, which he was.
2nd Guardian was in all blues, and he told me that from the start. This is level 4 fractals, though, so I wasn’t overly concerned. The guy knew how to play the kitten class. Swamp fractal, he pulled out a scepter, and went to work. This fresh level 80, in blue karma gear that was even 80, stayed alive more than the 100% Zerker Guardian.

I’m saying all this not because of frustration or to show anyone up. I’m saying it because it doesn’t matter the class itself, or sometimes even the gear. If a person knows how the hell to play their class, and actually works on leveling them, instead of crafting to 80, it won’t matter. I welcome any and all classes to my dungeons, as long as you know how to play, and you follow directions.
