A few tweaks I think are needed for guard....
I think these are good suggestions! The only one that I think would cause issues is the second one. Two finishers on one skill would be a bit unfair.
not all projectiles are considered projectile finishers.
With that logic a elementalists chain lightning and fireball should also be considered as projectiles with projectile combo finishers.
and some projectiles are considered 100% projectile finishers.
(stoning, thiefs stealth pistol 1)
Guards projectiles from gs seems like some sort of energy. Something that isnt physical that could set itself on fire as it flies trough a fire field
Yeah as I was writing it I immediately thought of group mechanics and why I put the iffy notice in there. That may be a bit too much combined with other fields.
Also more access to Light Aura would be nice. They made a new combo pretty much just for us but only one weapon can activate it and only once ~15s.
nightblood try to use sigil of rage in GS, its amazing, you’ll see your WW 100% better.
I use rage + air or fire.

Yeah I went ahead and tried the sigil of rage. Youre right it does help, but once again, crap shoot.
I might get it when I need it.

It probably became bugged when they reduced quickness’s speed. I seem to remember haste stomping being quite popular around release and you didn’t have to stand still after the animation.
Either that or they wanted stomps to take a certain amount of time no matter what.
Spirit weapons need to be like engineers turrets – cannot be dmged by conditions and critical dmg because they die easily.
Personally I wouldnt mind seeing the spirit weapon skills and traits be replaced completely with something more viable.
No one uses them or traits them. (But this is likely due to the fact that they absolutely suck.)
A ranger’s pet is more viable than those things are.
Maybe something to compliment the meditation line making Zeal more advantageous there.
But then again it well probably get the new Yoga trait line if they change it.

I would add a Whirling Whirling Wrath (althou it’s a weapon skill) to the list, with it’s movement speed reduction effect. Makes it almost impossible to land on a moving target with it’s miserable radius.

Been asking for this since they made spirit weapons killable.
Personally I would love to see them redesigned to be unkillable banner type pets that follow us around and grant nearby allies a passive buff & can be commanded to grant a special effect.
Here is what we need:
- A snare, preferably trait related so they don’t pigeonhole us into a single weapon. Half of our traits are garbage so it shouldn’t be that hard to fit that in
- A source of bleeding. Again trait related, can be added somewhere down in radiance
- MERGING OF THE STUPID VIRTUES TRAITS. Especially the ones related to VofValor, and VoJ to a certain extend. its stupid to have 2 different traits for an extremely similar functionality.

On the snare, I have suggested for quite a while that they change shimmering defense so that it applies a 2 second chill on blind with a 10 second CD per target.
On conditions, bleeds tend to be over used considering they refuse to change the cap. Confusion or torment would be much more fitting (punish the enemy for taking action or leaving combat with you).
Personally I think reducing powerful blades to a +5% sword/spear damage but tacking on "Apply torment on critical hit with sword & spear (4-5 seconds) would be more fitting.
Virtue traits, pretty much everyone agrees they need work.
Can somewhat agree when it comes to save yourselves, shield of wrath & selfless daring.
Personally I think selfless daring & save yourselves should work at 75% in Spvp instead of the current 50% with shield of wrath being fully the same as is in PvE.
