Guild Wars 2

I saw this build suggested on a youtube video and thought it was a pretty good start for what my goal is. Basically I want a go-to build that deals decent damage but offers good survivability and group support. Think of a “jack of all trades, master of none” build. Something that will work in dungeons, wvw, boss farming, or just running around in different zones.

As I said before, I like it, but was wondering if there are any tweaks I could make to better improve on what my goal is.

Don’t run the same build for everything you do.
Dungeons/Map Completion: Zerk
World Bosses: PVT
WvW: PVT

If anyone tells you zerk is selfish and brings no support, don’t listen to them. Your support comes from Blocks, Blinds and Reflection/Absorption

For WvW:
I quit WvW a couple months ago, but I’m sure you still cant go wrong with PVT Staff and GS or Hammer with 0 0 6 6 2 or 0 1 6 6 1 Trooper runes energy+stamina sigils(dodges for days)

The build you linked has alot of flaws:
2 from Zeal should go to 1 Radiance 1 Virtues or 2 Virtues
Purity is bad and Retributive Armor is in the wrong place, if you go 6 in Valor, it’s for Altruistic Healing, OP sustain trait for WvW.
Two-Handed Mastery is not bad, but Empowering Might is so much better(that’s why I put in Knights Weapons and Emerald Jewels), its synergy with AH will keep you alive.
Force of Will looks tempting(it IS 3k HP) but with 2 shouts+Trooper Runes, Pure of Voice is REALY great Condi Clear.

Shelter Heal>Signet of Resolve, better to mitigate the burst then have to heal it
Also blocking gives you might, might gives you HP from AH

Guess I missed some things, but its 4:21 AM so meh ^.^
