A silly request - that darn Aegis

I know this is the last thing the devs need to be focusing on, but it bothers me so much.

That blue aegis shield effect… please give us a way to turn it off. -_- I love my guardians (I have two) but I hate that shield. I don’t need to see it on my arm when wielding a 2-handed weapon, and especially not when I’m invited to a dance!

I hate shields. It’s bad enough when I use one I’ve picked out myself. I don’t want to see one there constantly. And I’m not saying to remove it completely. I’m sure plenty of people like it or don’t care. But an option to turn it off would be so nice.

I think its there more-so for your opponent. So they never have to go “Why the hell was my attack blocked?”

Turn it only off in PvE … ?

Just an idea. Doesn’t bother me too often, but trying to take screenshots without the thing can be … tedious.
