I currently run a standard altruistic healing build with a hammer. I was wondering if by any chance if this is viable in WvW at all?

It is indeed. Use staff secondary weapon and you have an extra heal there.

That and healway are about the most viable builds we got.

We don’t need to make mandatory gear treadmills, we make all of it optional
