It heals for less than Shelter if you have no conditions on you. The only time it outperforms Shelter is if you cure two conditions with it, but you still miss out on the Blocking from Shelter. It does have some party utility from the group wide condition clearing but to be honest, it’s quite limited. I won’t be using it.

I have a feeling the heal is designed for when they release a new dungeon that’s condi heavy, but right now, I can’t find a reason to put it on my action bar. However, it’s not terrible for a Guardian.
Compare Antitoxin Spray to Withdraw on a thief. Withdraw has half the cooldown, heals for more, cures 1 less condition (although they are movement-hindering conditions instead of poison-like ones), and is an instant cast with an evade.

You are half right. Turns out base heal only applies to caster, it does heal allies per condition removed though. So, less potent than originally thought.

How’s it compared to Signet of Resolve?
My problem with it is it only removes poison, torment and confusion. If it removed three of any condition. Then I might use it.
I’ll stick with Shelter.

Agreed – it’s basically good for the nightmare events and nothing else. If it made you immune to those conditions for 10 seconds after cast it might be worth it – a counter to perplexity

Its probably more beneficial in wvw than it is in pve outside of the nightmare events.

I tried it out for 2 days in WvW, kinda useless to mediocre at best. We already have far better ways to clear conditions + the ones not included in this heal. Only time I see it as usefull may be when you repeatedly fight an organized necro/mesmer heavy group, which is rare at best.

I am also of the opinion that this skill is used up in the WVW, within a zerk.
Belonging to that case, I’d use it in PvE and not even in pvp …. so in the end not even the guardian is deriving benefit from this skill.
I chose the answer “Tarsius.3170” so as to put highlights in his work and the differences with the other heals ..
