Any Bow/Hammer Builds?
Depends what you want to use it for, however it can work with mace, greatsword or bow depending on your build.
In general the hammer is ungodly slow, and the constant light fields can often override fields that are better.
In PvE it can have uses due to constant protection, tho it still feels extremely slow.
In PvP the only real good thing about it is mighty blow due to that skill having a low Cd and decent damage.
everything else is either extremely easily countered by stability & teleports or far to slow to get use out of vs intelligent players.

Note I dont take big game hunter because unless something is about to die and you have the second radiance minor trait to reset justice it just isn’t worth taking.
Also note that the build tool does not properly show that writ of persistence gives symbols an additional 2 pulses. That with hammer is a significant DPS and protection increase.
Hammer will still feel ungodly slow however and vs other players that makes it very easy to counter.
Hammer is our 2nd worst 1v1 weapon (after the Staff). It’s also a weak “mobber” weapon, the Staff beats it here. But in team fights (pvp or wvw) it can be really strong. The most important thing (I think…) is that you must use it reactively. Make your foe waste a dodge or a CD evading your MB or a teammates attack and punish it immediately!
Judge Intervention is a must for a Hammer user (even after the nerf). And it works together with the Longbow extremely well.
You have one hard hitting ability on each weapon plus you have a crapload of CC.

But you need somebody to take advantage (or help to land) of your CC otherwise it’s wasted. And missing a CC on Hammer feels punishing… They have soooo long CD. If you just burned them all without killing your opponent then GG you are wielding a lamppost against a bat…
