Hey guys I came back to the game after a while as a guardian.

this used to be my main build, but now that the traits have changed I don’t really know what to do, I spent a lot of money and time on this build and I’d like to know if there is an updated version of the one shown above with the updated new traits system.

I enjoy playing aggressive in small scale fights in WvW & I love to use my GS with Sword/Scepter. I really want to keep my zerker + knight type of equipment.

if you don’t have access to DH just replace that line with zeal and take every 2nd major trait

Valor: smiters, strength in numbers, monk
Other trees are to your choosing.

Virtues is a sweet bonus, the resolve and courage buffs give you extra condi clear, stab and a stun break (that can all be shared). Unscathed is nice, but I take retaliatory.

Honor for the usual force of will and empowering might for a decent health and damage boost. I tend to take protective reviver, but the adapts there are kinda bad. Also grants its vigor which is great.

Zeal gives you some better damage options. Fiery wrath, zealous scepter, the GS trait and symbolic avenger.

Radiance, for non burn, grants you an additional immobilize on justice. Perfect inscriptions grants you a shorter CD on that trait.

In short, for optimal damage, take zeal, radiance, valor.

For a mix between support and damage, take valor, honor, and virtues. The honor can be replaced with either zeal or radiance at your discretion of course.
