Guild Wars 2

I normally play an Altruistic Healing Guardian, but I’ve had a full set of exotic Carrion armor that I’ve had in my inventory for a long time now. Are there any builds you can recommend that might make good use of this? Primarily PvE focused with support for WvW.

Well PVE wise anything can work in that setting, though I’ve thought about getting a set myself. It can work very well in a powerbuild, with 30 in Zeal for kindled zeal, since you’ll get 300 power and 30% Condition Duration which well help supplement damage of burning. Carrion armor seems alright since you do get Vitality from it.

Back when I used to play guardian in sPVP, I discovered that with 15 points in Radiance I could spam the active of Virtue of Justice quite liberally, giving my whole team a lot of burning and blinding nearby foes. In close quarters it was quite an effective strategy for piling on additional damage: use active, kill something quickly, repeat the process over and over again.

I haven’t made a build for PVE yet that uses conditions, but that is probably something to go down. Although I’d be hesitant to use only carrion gear, since the only thing you’re getting is burning.

burst thieve’s/warrior/ele’s almost kill themselves if they’re not paying attention in spvp.

downside=if they do know what your doing, all you can do now is stalemate bunker until help arrives.

Tried this build, it works..but only against people more concerned with trying tompost big dmg numbers rather than thoughtful counterplay.
