Any "new" builds for DH PVE with patch?
Not really to be honest. Our best DPS build is still the hammer dragonhunter. Sword is about 15-20% lower DPS than hammer, even with the new symbol. If you really need a shield like to knock back seekers in VG then sword is a viable option now, but hammer is still the top stuff.

Even then, going mace+shield is better for heals and block.
The changes are better for pvp scene.

People so mis informed.. Scepter is by far the best dps on guard now…

That video was made with unrealistic buffs though and since alacrity does a lot more for scepter/torch than for Hammer this video cant be used for a fair comparison.
all the uber ele dps vids are with unrealistic buffs.

That’s like saying unrealistic thief buffs can’t be compared to unrealistic ele buffs… but people compare them all right.
the qt benchmark was done with both, unrealistic and realistic buffs. If you only look at the unrealistic onces its your own fault.
I have done some testing now by myself and i got to the result, that with realistic buffs the optimal dmg of scepter/torch is indeed higher than that of the hammer. However, that was only the case with The Virtues Traitline with perma aegis and lots of boons which give you a 1%dmg buff.
Since you wont have those in a Raid or Fractal( at least not permanently) Hammer in the end still deals a bit more dmg + Provides permanent protection.
In General scepter is still stronger than it used to be and shouldnt be overlooked when creating builds
