I run a hammer AH build and I would like to see some other people’s WvW tactics. Please post videos!

I already made some videos of solo build with Greatsword but I’m playing a lot the Hammer atm and still frapsing

But atm I don’t know any solo hammer guardian vids on WvWvW.

Hammer is more of a group weapon. But looking forward to any videos.

Guardian alone = easy to kill, we depend on having others around us for better healing. Its not impossible, but not practical to play solo.

Did you mean that a solo Guardian is a easy kill? As in, free badge?

I’ve never died in a 1v1 and my healing/defense is always on par or better than than opponents.

Some of our abilities, some of our traits are dependent on allies being around us. Ultralistic healing does nothing with no allies around to buff/heal you. 1v1 sPvP is vastly different then 1v1 in WvWvW. I am talking about the later.

Alturistic Healing counts boons you put on yourself. In a shout build with a hammer and Empowering Might, that’s thousands of points of healing per fight.

I wouldn’t say many thousands if you are solo, you might be lucky to hit maybe 2k healing in a fight without allies around. Keep in mind the amount of healing done from this is very little (for me its 193 for each boon).

3 Stacks of Might with Virtue of Justice
Regen with Virtue of Resolve
Protection with Virtue of Courage (Might on block)
1 stack of Might every time I block (Shelter)
Stability and Retaliation with SYG!
Everything except Stability and Aegis with SY!
Regeneration and Protection with HtL!
All boons but Aegis when I use Renewed Focus (Runes of Lyssa #6) Also resets my Virtues.
Might when I crit
30% chance of Might when I crit (Sigil of Strength)
Vigor when I crit
Protection from Hammer Chain
Retaliation from Blast Finisher combo in the chain
Protection from Shield 4.

I have Boons flying all over the place in the course of a fight. Nevermind the rest of the heals I have, like Selfless Daring, and Shield 5.

Yes it’s better when in a group, but it’s a very noticeable amount of healing in a solo fight. You combine AH with Regen being up close to 100% of the time and having Protection near 100% of the time, and I’m pretty sturdy, with a lot of damage from Hammer and Sword attacks.
