Guild Wars 2

I was in pvp on my warrior earlier today and i was in a group with a very effective guardian who had sword/shield as their main weapons. I can’t remember their offhand weapon(s) but we won the game. I’m planning to make a guard alt and i was wondering what a good trait setup for sword/shield is.

Guardian’s Shield isn’t an excellent choice. It can shine if your team knows what they’re doing and you’ve talked about it beforehand, but without a good team, it’s really not worth taking.

If you really want to use those weapons (and I understand that need), you can just run with a Shout-Bunker or a Meditation build and those two weapons. I’ve done that with the Shout build for a bit and it’s not horrible.

Go sword/focus and run meditations.

As much as I’d love to run shield on my guardian, it has the worst weapon skillset in the game, hands down.
