Are STATs the be all end all?
Healing power in my option is only viable for pve if you want to take several veterans and mobs at the same time, had fun doing that in Arah until it got bored.
I runed 3.5armor and 1.6healing power builds in the past, and atm i can survive much much more outside pve with only 200healing power, the rest goes for armor, health and power, well boon duration on guardian is excelent if you use that get a hammer, constant protection.

Depends on what you are going for OP. Keep in mind that you can only ever have 100%.
In some sense, I think stats are key – But not in the way that xxx stats in armor is better than xxx crit etc.
GW2 rewards players with good timing on their dodges and skill usage ( and applying the correct utility for the situation ).
The stats fill out a user’s play style, and I think the right balance is different for every player. The traits, sigils and runes have much more impact on your effectiveness than the raw numbers – so they should be selected carefully for the synergy with your weapons, utils and technique.
At the end of the day you have to experiment and find what works for you. Of course different parts of the game have differing requirements – which is why many folks have multiple armour and weapon sets, and switch traits around depending on whether they’re going to PvE, sPvP or WvW.

It’s hard to compare the effectiveness of boons to the one of stats, since it depends on how well you can use them.
Comparing primary stats with secondary stats is doable instead. Like you may expect, condition damage and condition duration are not very good for a guardian, while boon duration is awesome (the +30% boon duration you can get from four runes is decisely better than what four runes of divinity can give you, at least for shout builds).
Healing power is good with a build coentered on it (but I have no real experience here), while critical damage is efficient only when you can get +1% per 5-7 points of stat (like in jewels or food).
