The idea is to continue the precision, toughness aspect of stats while adding more vitality. Healing isn’t wasted since this is a “regen” type of build (although I understand healing stat flatlines).
Any opinions (or am I looking in a totally wrong direction)?
EDIT – Also can you overwrite the runes that come with the Karma sets with runes you’d rather have?
Altruistic Healing
If you’re using Empowering Might to compliment it, getting pieces with Magi stats would be good (precision/vita/healing power). Or you can just get the soldier pieces and make up the crit with jewelry since heal scaling is not that great for AH.
I run Alturistic Healing with Valkyrie gear with Emerald Orbs, and Knights jewelry. Seems to work great.
Just remember, Empowering Might has a 1 sec Internal Cool Down.
If I was going to regear for it,
I would only change the runes.
6 Divinity
or
6 Soldier
or
2 Superior Monk
2 Superior Water
2 Major (NOT Superior) Sanctuary
I have 3 shouts, so the Boon bonuses are very nice.
interesting, but makes total sense, choice on the major sanctuary rune, Kami! i too often just don’t bother looking at sub-superior runes. -_- are there no other superior runes with vit and boon duration as 2 pc bonus? i’ll have to take a look.
i run knights gear and working on valkyrie jewelry. will see how it goes. right now just running knight’s with low grade jewelry and still working out so can’t wait to upgrade and see how it goes.

or maybe full set of soldiers (the remove conditions on shout sounds awesome), as i use 3 shouts as wlel most of the time.

Yes I’m running Empowering Might (hence the crit basis).
I decided to go with Knight’s Draconic armor for now and I’ll make up the vitality with some jewelry.
For a sigil, I’m using Sigil of Strength (procs Might on crit (no cool down) for the heal on AH). For runes I’m using Pirate and Travelers for the MF. Not sure what I’ll go with on my PvP set although I would think I’ll go the Power/Toughness/Vitality route (Kami’s suggestions look interesting though).

I currently use a personalized build focusing on Altruistic Healing and Battle Presence. I’m still working on my gear but currently im aiming for Healing Power/Vitality/Precision Armor (with soldier runes since i run shouts) and weapons (with eather water sigil’s or perception sigil’s) with Emerald Jewelery. For my play style i have found this to be a nearly perfect balance for me.
To get healing power is arm useless imo.. Only scales Well with Dodge heal and decent with VoR activation.. But i tested healingpower with AH , and iirc around 800 healing power gave like 10 more HP / AH tick. Wich is a waste.. Same for regeneration Boon , really bad scaling.. I cant make myself equip healing power after both SPvP tests + WvW tests really wish AH could scale better tho
