Hello,

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get an Occam’s weapon box from Fractals (lvl21).
This box let’s you choose from Carrion stat weapons.
I’m confused what should I choose from the box:
-The 2HSword/Staff I use the most and this would also give me 10 Agony Resist.
-If Carrion is bad for Guardian, I Would consider to give the box to my thief/engi/necro.Because these stats are condition dmg oriented, and I’m more into Knight (Toughness/precision) build.

Would the DMG difference worth the stat loss? Should I just pick the 2H Sword and be happy…I dont know. Is there any viable WvW build with Survival/Condition build for 2handsword guardian ?

I would say use it for your necro. Much better for bringing condi damage.

Condi damage on a guardian is REALLY lackluster, as they only damaging condition they can apply (not including sigils/runes etc) is burn.

Very true, it’s ridiculous really. Our profession lacks an entire playstyle because of its mechanics. They could at least have added bleed-on-crit trait or poison on an auto-attack to make it somewhat viable.

As said, I also think the weapon is best put on your Necromancer or Engineer.

Don’t waste it on your guard. Give it to one of your other toons.

One of these dropped for my mesmer last night in WvW; I’ve banked it for now since I’m not sure which character would benefit most from it. I’ve got a necro who’s running an old but still viable condition build so he seems the most likely candidate. Am I right?
