Hey guys so im back after a long break, ill get right to the point. I have a wind catcher skin already in use on my thief, the back piece is a lvl 80 item, i want to transfer the wind catcher skin onto my guardian who also has a level 80 backpiece. How do i EXACTLY do this? Step by step, and is still even possible after all the updates? I have a couple transmutation crystals.

To do so, you have to transmute it with a white or blue backpiece(anything above that doesn’t work)(a good example would be black lion company quaggan skin) to make it account bound(on a character who has the backpiece). Needless to say, keep skin and throw away stats. Now that catcher skin is account bound, and you can transfer it to your alternative character. If you want to regain stats, of course you’ll either have to transmute it with another item(with stats), or use a Transmutation Splitter to get both blue/white and your wind catcher with stats back(on a different character).
