Been doing a little more PVE lately and trying out different builds. Suggestions?

I thought the hammer was better than GS?

Only change I would recommend is place longer consecrations instead of unscathed contender for dungeon team play. You’re gonna want those longer wall/hallowed/purge times.

Or you could just go ahead an invest a lil more into virtues and have both and sacrifice say, firey wrath.

It’s better for pugs because protection is actually relevant there, and minmaxing DPS tends to be a pain in the kitten because you don’t have the total DPS to make anything drop fast enough to significantly negate incoming damage.

That said, that trait spread is screwy as hell.

Please give us a dps meter(Parser or w/e they are called). so we can stop this thread opening every week. imo at this stage use best dps stats and traits. use what ever weapon you feel best with,

People have done the math though, it may not be as easy to work out as if a parser had been used, but I’m pretty confident in the tests carried out by certain players.

I wouldn’t just recommend running zerks and then just winging it with w/e traits/weps u want if you want to optimize. There are clearly some weapon sets that are gonna do more than others.

You dont attack with GS Autoattack, your main dmg is from the Sword.
And i think GS is better, higher attackspeed and 2-5 are much better then the hammer 2-5.

This is exactly what I do. I start with a hammer and if the guys seem skillful I switch ot gs or sword.

Those stats are awesome. Too bad I couldn’t get these stats in WvW on my guardian and survive...
