Best guardian build, Most OP, Most Damage Most everything.
While I agree playstyle has a lot to do with it, to say there are no bad builds is stretching the truth preeeeetty far.

That’s true Rainshine, but it’s pretty hard to make a really bad build without trying.
I understand Maximilious’ concerns, and I make a point of it of never giving builds, only critiquing builds people already made.
That being said, I don’t think it’s a bad idea to point someone in the right direction. I’m trying to decide between knights, berserker’s or rampaging armor and I need some insight to make an informed decision.
So why do you really care Max? People will play builds however they want whether you like it or not.
peoples need help and talk each other and see other alternatives…..that’s why forums exist (and not for qq/whinefest)…
are you so antisocial OP? ;p

@killbill: I, personally, don’t mind helping other peoples. In fact, I love it. It’s why I rolled a Guardian and why I try to be helpful on the forums. If people ask what they’re looking for (for example: “Defensive Greatsword build”, or something), I’ll point them in the right direction, but I won’t make a build for them. Learning how your traits work is a big part in mastering the profession.
If they post a build, I’ll look at it and try to see what works and what doesn’t and maybe even post a modified build myself.
The trick seems to just be well rounded. So if you create a purely offensive build, then you need to gear for defense or else you won’t last long enough in a fight to dish out your damage. Likewise, if your build is all defense, you should gear for power/precision/etc or else your fights last foreeeeeeever.
But I agree that there don’t seem to be any real bad builds unless you try.
Why do you care if people want advice? If discussion of class builds offends you so much, then maybe the class forums aren’t the best place to read.
