Guild Wars 2

I run a Zerk Guardian build along the lines of Obal’s build (GS and Sw/Focus) and I will soon have enough gold to buy the precursor of my choice and thus finally complete my first Legendary. I am not so keen on any of the Legendary Greatswords so was thinking about buying Zap and go for Bolt, as I like the style and animations. But I am worried about how much of it can still be seen on Guardian.

A lot of the Guardian attacks and animations are light and flash heavy and I am wondering if Bolt’s effect do not end up being overshadowed by them in the end. The Youtube videos I checked of it on Guardian were not super helpful to get a good sense either.

Any Guardian with Bolt who would care to chime in and let me know how it is working out for them? Are you happy with how Bolt’s effect mesh with Guardian Sword skills?

I don’t have Bolt on my guardian, but a few in my guild do. I think it looks great. You can always see the electricity coming from it. If anything, the colors compliment the guardian’s skill animations in my opinion.

I have Bolt on my Guardian and it’s my favorite weapon. It looks awesome, and Sword is just a beast of a weapon on Guard.

(I also have Eternity, The Juggernaut, Meteorlogicus, and Bifrost on my Guard. Bolt > Everything else)

For the love of the Game man, that is a lot of shiny objects. You are either one hell of a smart player of the market or excel at time management. Or both. I’ve played since the head start and am bingo shiny Then again, it isn’t my first thing to do either when I login.

Although the shield would be nice to have.
