I searched wiki but couldnt find answers to my questions about boon duration. Does anyone know:

If I am wearing boon duration gear will the boons I give my allies be extended?

I was playing around trying to maintain permanent swiftness so I tried using 2x speed runes, 2x air, and 2x something else for a total of 60% swiftness duration but it seemed like I only recieved 40%, why is that?

For altruistic healing builds what do you think is better, 6x superior rune of the soldier for the shouts removing a condition, or 2x superior monk, 2x superior water, 2x major water for 40% boon duration?

Bonus question so I dont start another thread. When using scepter and focus if I use two sigil that both trigger on weapon swap will they interfere with each other like say, sigil of battle and sigil of energy, do I only get one effect or both? Or sigil of force and sigil of accuracy, they both work together?

Boon Duration affects any boon you apply. This means that boons applied to allies will have the extended duration.

I’m not sure why you’re experiencing lower Swiftness Duration. I’ve yet to run into that problem.

Altruistic Healing isn’t boosted by either. Choose whichever best fits your character. Longer durations just means you boons last longer. Your boons will not activate more often (for more healing). Cleansing conditions may help your allies in a rough spot when conditions are being applied frequently. Neither improve the heal you get each second.

From what I can recall, weapon swap sigils share a cooldown and only the sigil on the main hand will activate in your given senario.

Thanks for answer. I didnt think Id get more heals from boon duration, just curious what people prefer?

Thats what I was afraid of with sigils, thanks for saving me a few gold.

I never expect to lose. Even when I’m the Engineer , I still prepare a victory speech.
