[Bug] Symbol of Energy ground-targetting
It’s not a bug. And its not just for Symbol of Energy. It is actually very beneficial to ground targeted skills when fighting moving foes, once you get used to it. Rather than predicting where the foe will go next, you can follow them with your mouse for incredible precision.

Is there a way to disable it? I really hate it when basic game mechanics like this are changed, and they don’t give you the option of using the old method…
What you described is fine for some situations, if you want to focus on a target and follow them. But it makes other situations impossible, like firing a shot at a location and quickly snapping your camera to a different direction to fire at another target. This change makes an already slow skill even slower and more cumbersome…
Tested with Normal, Fast with Range Indicator and Instant. It only happens with Instant.

Confirmed this is a bug from the thread here:
Seems to be related to the “allow skill retargetting” option, any ground targetting abilities with a cast time.
