Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I’m a new guardian. I’ve been doing some PvP games to gain a basic understanding of the class, and would like to start solo roaming now. I’ve been working out a build, and would be grateful for any comment from more experienced fellow guardians.

It’s basically an hybrid setup, where I’ve tried to vary attack damage (burning, physical damage, a bit of retaliation), get access to good resilience (blocks that burn and give might, meditations that heal), good mobility (25% speed increase, Vigorous Precision, Leap of Faith and Judge’s Intervention), minimal condition cleansing (Ray of Judgement, Smite Condition, Sigil of Purity).

Am I going in a viable direction, and are there things I should better balance? I’ve studied several builds before, although I’m not sure I’ve grasped all their subtleties.

humm, all stats very low, guardian to be good at his roles, must dedicate all for one thing and loose all others.

Imo i cant see a guardian with a condi setup…..

If you’re going hybrid, you need a more reliable condition application. Since you only have burning as your condition, going hybrid without amplified wrath is not really optimal, imo.
There are better builds for roaming, sure, but hybrid can be fun to play.

Thank you for your feedback! I now understand that I probably wanted too many things at a time, and should focus on either just attacking in an hybrid way (using Amplified Wrath), or only in a physical way.

@crochip: the mobility demonstration at the end of your video was instructive, and impressive.
