Guild Wars 2

Hello guys,
with the starting of WvW seasons me and my small guild will start to do some WvW in a group of 5-10 people, so we will focus in roaming and capping supply camps/undefended towers.
I need a build with good mobility, nice damage and still good survivability, so I’ve put down a build that seems fine to me, but I’m sure you guys can give me some advice to improve my effectiveness in our purpose.

I’ve done nothing but small group roaming on my Guardian with lots of totally different builds and group makeups since beta and my big criticism is that it is a watered down mediocre damage build with too much self preservation.

When the going gets tough for a small group against larger numbers of players who know who to target and focus fire(your high dps teammates) your self preservation won’t be of much value, the 2 conditions you turn into boons won’t make much difference either imho(esp compared to other 6piece rune set bonuses and a different 30 point trait).

I won’t start writing out builds but I recommend going heavier DPS (with 15 in radiance for the blinds and vulnerability) or heavy healing(0/0/10/30/30, battle presence with 1500+ healing imho will do wonders in a tough long fight compared to PoV using 2 shouts), dodge rolling on teammates using healing breeze and providing huge utility with hammer/staff.

Small group also my most important advice is hallowed ground with tome of courage, this alone can and if you time it right will win fights for your group, if you can sense how damage is going to play out you can reset the fight with the full heal and get a guaranteed daze as well, with the consecrations trait it lasts forever.. I even run elite focus so my tome goes for 30 seconds.

Oh yeah and I advise focus fire and use hammer immobilize/ring/staff line on the target on cooldown, group with mesmers who steal stability.
