Builds with Beserker gear?
Anyone?
There has to be a good dps build
Might be something like this build, which Obtena features in his signature.
Though to be honest, I can’t grasp why anyone would want to run around with condition damage gear since its massively inferior compared to direct damage boosting stats.

Isnt rampager gear direct damage?
For the most part condition gear/builds don’t work well with Guards, since we have one and it’s lackluster on top of it. You can still do ok if you want to run Rampager, but you are better off going direct dmg gear. (zerk, valk, knight, and etc.)
Heavens Rage
I meant to say Beserker
In GW2, unlike many other MMO’s there is more than 1 way to skin the proverbial cat.. When you say zerker gear, the stat priority is power/precision/crit damage.. gear and traits should hopefully take advantage of synergy in a build. Understand why you want zerker gear first, then perhaps good advise can be had. perhaps sayin’ build for zerker gear you don’t mean all armor, trinkets, back, sigils, runes etc all zerker.
My suggestion is to search the forums yourself, and tweak the many, many, many builds to suit your style, objective and budget. Maybe post something that comes close to what you want/think, and ask for advise tweaking it, rather than generic call out.
I don’t mean to sound harsh/bad here (im no expert and have sought advise too) but so many times i have read folks looking for the golden ticket without goin to the search function, or even previous posts. sometimes it helps you to help yourself.
Anyways, good luck and hope you find what your after
if u wana deal good damage try using traits fiery wrath and radiant power with beserker gear(no gaurdian expert here, but its what i do for dps). You can keep burning up on trash for 20% damage boost, and proc burning with virtue ofc. If you have another member in your group that does burning, works great. For your other traits you can go into valor for more crit damage or honor for empowering might. I like to go empower might mostly cuz of vigor on crit minor trait(its part of the builds damage mitigation). but also with 50%+ crit chance adn superior sigil of strentgh, greatsword can keep 10 stacks of might from auto attacking. And then with superior sigil of bloodlust on ur alt weapon( i use staff to stack even more might) you can expect some pretty good dps! I also use strentgh runes for 20% might duration and more power.

Thanks for the responses!
So what I wanted was something to match the “Zerker Warrior” that everyone wants so much in CoF, but the Guardian equivalent.
I like how you guys are stuck on the “I’m an AH baby” mindset that you can’t even give advice on something as basic as how to DPS with guardian.

I think most guardian zerker builds died with the omniberry food nerf
Playing the engineer “as intended” is simply not viable.
No one mentioned or referenced any AH build. And this is getting sad that people talk down on a very good build and the armor to use it can be used for other builds if desired.
If you’re looking to see how a good Guardian plays offensively (with a group), take a look at Amin’s videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/JDHarris66?feature=watch
He lists his builds in the description so take a look to see it in action rather than some “ultimate” build nonsense.

I don’t think you can call that a DPS build. His damage is pretty lackluster, although to be fair it’s a WvW build, not a PvE build. I believe the OP was looking a PvE build since he mentions dungeons.
Pretty much anything will work for normal PvE, but if you want to be a “good” addition to the group instead of just “taking up space”, you need to build for it properly. I don’t think that’s really a surprise to anyone though. That’s why I always bring up how crap AH is, because it benefits no one and ruins any DPS potential you might have had, and gives guardians a bad name as a result. It is basically the Mending W/Mo build from GW1.

Is the spec that i used to run with my Guardian when i felt like going ’’glassy’’. The damage you deal is outrageous, while having decent survivability to be able to kill a couple of players quickly.
You can also change the spec for AH just by switching a few traits without doing any changes on the gear/points so that you can run it for dungeons VERY effectivelly. That is well explained at the end of the guide.
Just a suggestion There aren’t any videos of it performing at PvE but i can sure tell it works. You can run a staff for empower which combo’d with empowering might trait is going to provide your group a nice ammount of might and heals for yourself while being able to maintain the outrageous damage Haven’t had any trouble tanking anything at PvE so far with this build
Even though there isn’t a PvE video, there is a solo WvW one at the end of the guide
I hope you enjoy
